BEAUMARIS GOAL
Upon entry you are transported back in time to the 1800s as the building has been largely untouched since then.

The gaol has a dark and heavy atmosphere, a place of torment and suffering that has left many souls wandering the dark corridors of this victorian gaol.

In 1829 it was expanded to accommodate up to approximately 30 prisoners, which included men, women and children. The prison regime would appear brutal to us these days, but in its day it was seen as an improvement on earlier gaols, yet still incorporating the use of chains and a whipping room.

2 public hangings took place here and with both men buried within the grounds, they were bound never to leave... even in death.

Shadow figures, people being touched, disembodied voices and poltergeist activity are just some of the regular reports from both staff and visitors. The angry sprit of a jailer walks the building and likes to rattle his keys. His silhouette has been seen many times and the sound of footsteps alert unsuspecting people of his presence. Is he still terrorising those spirits unable to leave?

The building is a foreboding place and whether a seasoned, or new investigator, Beaumaris gaol is not for the faint hearted.

With death, confinement and isolation, are you ready to investigate Beaumaris gaol?
